What are the Documents required for UAE Visit Visa?
- Copy of the applicant’s passport in colour scan
- A colour scan of your passport-size photo with a white background
- The page of the invitee’s UAE resident visa or a security check in the amount of AED 1500.
Criteria to Enter UAE:
- You must have in your possession an official passport which is valid for at least six months.
- You must have an Emirati residence visa sponsor. They can be either a close relative or friend.
- You must not be a former deportee of the UAE or have any history of ban from the UAE. This case does not apply to those who have a special permit of entry.
- You must have no medical complications.
- You have the official permit for your specific reason of entry.
General Guidelines:
- You are allowed to visit any of the 7 emirates of UAE i.e., Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah Sharjah, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain, only if you have a visit visa or a tourist visa.
- Irrespective of the fact that you have obtained the visa, it still needs to be approved by the immigration department.
- It usually takes two or four days to process a UAE visit visa, but an express option which is an urgent visa is always available.
- The time for posting an express visa is between 9 AM to 7 PM from Saturday to Thursday.
- If your stay has expired, leave the country or renew your stay within 15 days. If you refuse to do so, you will automatically be a fugitive and will have to pay overstay fines.
- For an extension stay, you will be charged a fee of AED 1500.
- The following acts are unacceptable in the UAE; disobeying the UAE laws, prostitution, beggary, driving whiles drunk, robbery, fighting, overstaying, and using your tourist visa to work. All these are offences and, so when caught, you will be fined by the immigration.
